The York Hall, officially known as York Hall Leisure Centre, is a historic neo-Georgian Grade II listed multi-purpose indoor arena and leisure complex on 5 Old Ford Road, located in Bethnal Green.

Built in the 1920s and opened to the public in 1929, with the baths incorporated first and second class swimming pools (the first class pool had a removable floor allowing for its conversion into a public hall), slipper baths, Turkish and Russian baths and public laundry facilities. After 1950, the first class pool fell into disuse, and in the 1960s, York hall became increasingly important as a boxing venue. Threatened with closure in 2003, York Hall was renovated once more in 2005, with the basement area converted into a health spa.Cite error: Closing </ref> missing for <ref> tag and one the main boxing venues in the United Kingdom and internationally recognised as the spiritual home of British Boxing.[1]
