Tom Barker (3 June 1887–2 April 1970) was a New Zealand tram conductor, trade unionist and socialist. He was born in Crosthwaite, Westmorland, England on 3 June 1887. He was a leading member of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) and politician in New Zealand and Australia.
He entered the United Kingdom in the Labour Party and was elected to the city council of St Pancras Borough. When he was elected as mayor in 1958, he had hoisted up a red flag.
He remained politically active until his death in 1970 and died in London at the age of 83.
