On the LCC leaders list has Olive E G Deer - could a correction be made somewhere. Jackiespeel (talk) 17:30, October 10, 2016 (UTC)
- I can't find any "E" anywhere. Her name appears as Olive Getrude Deer in the National Portrait Gallery entry and in the reports of the Lincoln Co-Operative Society. Somebody's finger slipped when typing? Lozleader (talk) 19:13, October 10, 2016 (UTC)
- It looks like a mistake in a list no longer on the Internet that someone transcribed from the inscriptions in County Hall. I have a copy of the page saved to my hard drive in November 2008 (two or three computers ago) and I continued the error when I created the chairman article on WP in 2009. The webpage also included photos of the inscriptions and the stone panel in question says "Mrs Olive G Deer". Lozleader (talk) 19:32, October 10, 2016 (UTC)
- So another case of Buneckles/Runeckles then. We will probably find a few more multiple misreadings. Jackiespeel (talk) 21:58, October 10, 2016 (UTC)
