Seton Forbes-Cockell (14 August 1927-19 September 1971) was a businessman and Conservative Party politician.
A member of the London Stock Exchange from 1948. Chairman Forbes Group of Companies 1953-71.
Member of the Greater London Council representing Kensington and Chelsea from 1964 until his death. Committee Chair Thamesmead 2 May 1967-1971.
Leader of Opposition ILEA 1964-67. From 1967 until his death he represented the GLC on the Port of London Authority.
In 1968 he beecame an alderman on Hammersmith London Borough Council and served as Mayor of Hammersmith for 1969-1970.
His wife, Ann McVicker Forbes-Cockell (née Redfern), was also a member of the GLC.
Wrote several books.
