Samuel Ruddell Collier (1 October 1863 - 29 August 1941) was a physician, local politician and rugby player active in the Wimbledon area.

Born in Ulster, he was the fourth son of the Rev. Robert Collier, a Methodist minister. He studied at the Methodist College in Belfast, and won a scholarship to study medicine at Trinity College Dublin in 1879. Around this time he played rugby for Ireland in an international match against Scotland held in Belfast in February 1883.

He was admitted as a Fellow of Obstetrical Society of London in 1895. By this time he was living in Wimbledon, in the Surrey suburbs of London. He became a member of Wimbledon Borough Council and served as Mayor of Wimbledon in 1907-08.

He died in Bedford, aged 77.
