A station on the Metropolitan Line and Piccadilly Line Travelcard Zone 6 opened on 4 July 1904 as the original sole intermediate station on the line between Harrow-on-the-Hill Station and Uxbridge Station.
Ruislip Gardens Station and South Ruislip Station are nearby: there are buses to Ealing, Uxbridge and Mill Hill Broadway.
