Philip Edward Hemery Le Breton (30 October 1806 - 6 August 1884) was a barrister and local politician, active in the Hampstead area.
He was the son of the Reverend Phillipe Le Breton, rector of St Saviour, Jersey, and his wife, Susanne née Hemery.
Philip moved to London, and was called to the bar at the Middle Temple in 1828. In 1833 he married the authoress Anna Laetitia Aiken (1808–1885).
Le Breton settled in Hampstead, and served on the Vestry until 1880. From 1859-1879 he was Hampstead's representative on the Metropolitan Board of Works.
In 1872, on the death of the lord of the manor of Hampstead, Le Breton instigated the negotiations that led to the Metropolitan Board purchasing Hampstead Heath for the use of the public.
He died at his Hampstead home in 1884, aged 77.
