Helen’s Place is an alleyway in Bethnal Green.

History[]

By the 1820s, a row of buildings fronting the alley, were marked on an 1828 map as to be on Chester Place.[1]

At some point, Chester Place was renamed as Helen's Place, and the buildings on it where knocked down and replaced with Museum House, that was opened in 1888.[2]

Helen’s Place used to have housing along the north side, but that was destroyed during World War 2, due to the barracks nearby.[3]
