Previously Edgware Rural Sanitary District - renamed 1877.
Covered the Parishes of Edgware, Great Stanmore, Kingsbury, Little Stanmore and Pinner; and part of the parish of Harrow on the Hill (Harrow Weald, Wealdstone and Wembley areas).
Absorbed into Hendon Rural District, Wealdstone Urban District and Wembley Urban District in 1894.
