G. Kelly is a café on 526 Roman Road, in Old Ford,[1], in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

G. Kelly has been in the Vening family for three generations.[2]

G. Kelly quietly reopened in 2020 following a two-year closure for refurbishment, which had long queues during its first weekend of trading since its extensive restoration period.[3]

Neil Vening, 28, has taken over the main responsibilities of running the shop. He’s been involved in its workings on and off since he was 12 years old, when he was drafted in to wash dishes.[4]
