Frederick Denis Christian FIB (2 October 1898 - 16 November 1983) was a banker and Conservative Party politician.

A councillor on Barnes Borough Council, he was Mayor of Barnes 1955-1956.

Following the passing of the London Government Act 1963, Barnes was merged into the larger London Borough of Richmond upon Thames within Greater London.

The first elections to the new councils were held in 1964 and Christian was elected to Richmond upon Thames Council to represent Barnes Ward and to the Greater London Council to represent Richmond-upon-Thames. He stood down from both councils at the next elections in 1967 (GLC) and 1968 (London Borough).
