Forrester Clayton (3 November 1878 - 6 August 1942) was a business man and local politician in Middlesex.
Born in Birmingham, he joined his father's canal carrying and timber businesses. In 1904 he moved to Brentford to direct the company's activities in London and in 1912 was elected to Brentford Urban District Council. He was a member of the council until 1920, and was chairman from 1915-20.
In 1913 he was elected to Middlesex County Council to represent Brentford East. In 1920 he became a county alderman and was chairman of the county council from 1937-40.
He was High Sheriff of Middlesex for 1934.
By 1939 he was director of a number of family companies and a director of the Grand Union Canal and a member of the London Passenger Transport Board. In February 1939 he was made Honorary Colonel of 72nd Searchlight Regiment, Royal Artillery. In the following year he was created a Deputy Lieutenant of Middlesex.
