A station on the Northern Line and Victoria Line in Travelcard Zone 1. Mainline services - at the terminus - were opened on 20 July 1837, and underground on 22 June 1907. The original surface building for the underground station could be seen on a road to the west of the mainline station, but has since been demolished.
Euston Square Station, King's Cross St. Pancras Station, the British Library and the Wellcome Institute are all within a short distance.
