An area of London south of the river, close to Greenwich, named after a ford on the River Ravensbourne.
1900-65 Metropolitan Borough of Deptford - now part of the London Borough of Lewisham
Served by Deptford Station and Deptford Bridge Station, and various buses.
Christoper (Kit) Marlow was murdered in the area.
