Debden Underground Station is on the London Underground Central Line (Epping Branch) outside Greater London in the Epping Forest District in Debden IG10, in Travelcard Zone 6.

History[]

Opened by Eastern Counties Railways on 24 April 1865 as Chigwell Road, which was changed to Chigwell Lane in December of that year making it one of the oldest stations operated on the network. It was transferred to the Central Line on, 25 September 1949, being given its present name.

London Buses routes 20, 397 and 677 serve the station, as well as a number of non-Transport for London contracted buses, including routes 66, 418, 418B and 542.
