Mayor of Hackney 1913-1914.
Born in Islington 1864; builder and contractor. Co-opted to the London County Council 31 October 1916 for the Hackney South division; Municipal Reformer. Elected to the Hackney Borough Council 1912 representing Hackney South ward after unsuccessfully contesting the same seat in 1909.
Opened Clapton and Stoke Newington Libraries.
