Canning Town is a London Underground, Docklands Light Railway and connected London Buses station in Canning Town, it also connects to Poplar via a footbridge to Leamouth over the River Lea. It is on the boundary of Travelcard Zone 2 and Travelcard Zone 3.

Canning Town Station was known 1846-1873 as Barking Road, and was built on the site of the Thames Iron Works.
A mainline service began in 1846, with the North London Line service being opened in 1995. The DLR service opened 1994, being closed June 1996-March 1998 for construction of the Jubille serce, which opened May 1999. The North London Line services closed December 2006 (along with the rest of the Stratford-North Woolwich section).
