Alec Alan Grant (27 March 1932 - 25 December 1991) was a barrister and Labour Party politician.

The only son of Emil Grant, a company director from Finchley.

Following education at the University of Oxford, in 1953 he entered the Middle Temple. He was called to the bar in 1957.

In 1961 he was elected to Middlesex County Council to represent Willesden, Kilburn. Middlesex County Council was abolished and Grant was elected to the successor Greater London Council in 1964 as a member representing Lewisham. He lost his seat at the 1967 elections, but regained it in 1970, serving until 1973. Committee Chair Licensing 14 April 1965.
