Albert Eric Béchervaise (15 July 1884 – 20 December 1969) was a Labour Party politician in the Leyton area.

Born in Leyton, he was a member of the National Amalgamated Furniture Trades Union.

He was elected to Leyton Urban District Council in 1923. The Urban District was incorporated as a municipal borough in 1926, and he was made an alderman of the borough council, serving as Mayor of Leyton for 1930-31.

From 1945-50 he was member of parliament for Leyton East. He was made an honorary freeman of the Borough of Leyton in 1949. Following Leyton's absorption into the London Borough of Waltham Forest in 1965, he became an honorary freedom of the new borough.

He was a member of the Metropolitan Water Board from 1954-60.
