(Alfred) Abraham Naar MBE 12 October 1884-1978
Awarded the MBE for services as postal sorter during the First World War "under specially difficult and dangerous circumstances".[1]
Chairman of Hendon Urban District Council 1931-32, Mayor of Hendon 1939-1941. Also elected to Middlesex County Council to fill a wartime vacancy in the representation of Hendon East in 1939.
Member of the English Zionist Federation.[2] [3] Born Stepney 1884, died Camden 1978.
